I miss the feeling of...

excitement when getting on the Jet and knowing I'm going to one of my favorite places, NYC.

the grass titillating my body as I lay in Central Park making loony faces at the camera.

Mangu

My last meal while I was in NYC back in October. I hadn't had a plate like this since 2001. So fucking good....and I had a Mamey milkshake to accompany it. OOweeeee! Calories galore.

WE ARE. WE ATE.

Cafeteria in Chelsea>Denny's, IHop, Cracker Barrel, & any other American Diner experience you've ever had. Hands down.

Open 24/7.

Very trendy. Had me feeling like I was in a lounge, ready to have some drinks with my bitches. (check out their website on the link above)

I'm going to have to send an email to the CEO of this place and demand him to open one AGAIN down in Miami.

Those are some colossal ass desserts aren't they? I didn't finish mine, in case you were feeling inquisitive. None of us actually did.

Youre at Katz, The Show?

We ate some Pastrami over at Kat'z one night because they're really famous for their um...meat...and we wanted to know what the big fuss was about. My loverboy recommended the place and Raquel confirmed that it was a good place to check out considering it had good reviews on Yelp.
He said it housed the best Pastrami he has ever had in his life and he use to go there all the time back when he lived up north.. I don't know babe, it wasn't all that. Maybe I'm just not a fan. Maybe you just love pastrami too much.

I shouldve just had the same thing Sally had.

October had a party. All the leaves attended.

So did we.

I love the way Autumn makes me feel. Like a big mug of hot cocoa. with marshmallows of course.

Mexican Radio

The girls and I were supposed to eat at La Esquina in Soho one night...

but the employees were being complete douchebags and were taking reservations only. We walked over to Mexican Radio across the street instead, where we had chimichangas, flautas...

and a pitcher of Sangria.

We kept the Mexican tradition going and took a siesta on the way back home.

Mexican food rocks my socks.

Happy Feet

We could walk these city streets all day and night. With a pair of comfortable shoes of course.

These Former Railroad Tracks..

One of the highlights of my current NYC trip was a stroll through The Highline. Not only is it in one of the coolest towns, Chelsea, and next to the Meatpacking District, but this old freight train track turned park has pretty decent views of the Hudson River and of the town. I really wished it hadn't been raining because i would've enjoyed laying out on the benches for a while, soaking in the fresh breeze. I don't really care for flowers (except sunflowers of course) but it is nice to see some pretty colors mixed with green in the great Metropolitan city.

If you're into different kind of views, you might get lucky and catch some exhibitionists standing by the floor to ceiling windows at The Standard Hotel which is right next to/above the park.

I rate this 5 stars. <3

Pumpkin Patch: Compliments of Old Navy

The ladies and I were trotting along the Meatpacking District and stumbled upon a pumpkin patch in the middle of 9Th and Ganesvoort St. It was hosted by Old Navy and they had candy, a pumpkin decorating table, brain water, and lotsooo pumpkins. Pretty neat, considering the fact that it was pouring and we weren't really expecting to bump into such festivities.

Amy named the Old navy Mannequins. That's Rosa....

and this is Bruce.

Check out the little kid on the top left corner of the picture. LOL!

Best decorated pumpkin out there.

Organic Brain water. It was OK.

"Taylor, I'm really happy for you and Ima let you finish, but Beyonce has one of the best carved pumpkins of all time!"

How funny is this?

Lady gaga on the lower left, looking fierce even on a pumpkin.

Thanks for the picture Old Navy. <3
