Happy Halloweiner!

From: Amy Winehouse Post Rehab. Who knows. She might be back at it again later on tonight....to be continued.

Have a safe and fun night everyone! BooooOOoOoO!!!

I HEART

There is no hiding the love I feel for him. [NYC is a guy. You didn't know?]

Vandalism took place inside the bathroom of Stand4.

They got a variety of colored chalk and some really heavenly toasted marshmallow milkshakes. Y-U-M.

St. Nicholas Park

Its right across the street from Amy's. We decided to walk through there before heading out to eat and took pictures by the bleachers. Looked like any regular ol' court, cept this one had different colored fallish leaves on the ground, glistening from the rain.

P.S: I cant jump for shit. Don't judge me.

Everythiiiing $2.75

We bumped into a Dominican bakery with Colombian and central American employees on the Lower East Side Friday afternoon and I swear, every customer who walked in there and ordered something was charged the same amount. No matter what. "$2.75" the lady at the register said. Some young boy who was walking home from school ordered about 4pastries AND two drinks. I was about to order me a cake that fed 25 people for that price! Que barato!

I really cant tell the difference between good and bad Dominican cake but Raquel said it wasn't as moist as it should have been. The baker knows best.

At least I got to enjoy a well tasting Country Club Soda. It was my first time trying it. Yes, I know I've been sleeping on them...no need to tell me so.

A little bit of Gramercy, a little bit of Gucci

It was a rainy Friday evening, but that didn't stop the girls and I from meeting up with Amy's friend Drenita at Gramercy Tavern for some dinner and drinks with whimsical names. I enjoyed my meatballs and Concord Crush while the girls enjoyed their meatballs, sea bass and their champagne. Don't ask me what type because a mi no me gusta el champagne. lol

The night was young and well so are we, so we popped open our umbrellas and skipped along to The Bowery Hotel where apparently there was a Gucci party for I don't know what going on. Amy's friend had us on the list and we hung out amongst very nice dressed new yorkers (something that is very rare to see). There was an open bar all night, so Amy and Drenita took advantage and drank a lifetime supply of champagne while Raquel and I scouted for potential candidates to enter the "Amy needs a boo for winter" contest. lol No luck with that.

I was trying to blend in with all the "model type" people by giving the crowd the zoolander face. You know because nowadays EVERYONE is a model. yeah right!

If you mess with me

* Ill come into your sweet little cupcake shop

* take pictures with your un-carved pumpkin

* Have my friend eat all your not so good key lime cupcakes

* Take pictures of the pirate on the witness protection program doing a horrible job

* Take pictures of the pirate's boo Pablo doing a horrible job.

Don't tell me not to take pictures of you because you "cant be on the Internet" and that you "cant be on facebook" because believe me, you WILL be on the Internet. =)

Hungry Hungry Hippo

After an extremely loooooong afternoon at a local hair salon in Harlem, Raquel and I were Starvin McMarvin so we took a train to the Lower East Side for our first meal of the day at Fat Hippo. It's a very cute and small restaurant that played the best music out there. I was hoping to get my hands on the cd mix that was on rotation, (they played John Legend, The Roots, Amy Winehouse amongst others) but I got my hands on their mini burger sliders a La' Fondue instead. We were the only ones there and I kinda liked that. No loud, annoying conversations to interrupt the nice music and the sounds of our chewing. LoL.

The city is my scene and I am the actress. lol. Ok Ill never say that again but that's how I feel sometimes when im visiting NYC. Everything looks like its right off of a set or a photo shoot.

Who needs JC Penny professional portraits when you can just buy a plane ticket to the city that never sleeps? Ha ha ha!

Farewell Distant Lover

My flight leaves in a little less than 3 hours and I don't want to go home yet. Its not that I've had enough of the city, (I can have a little more of it) but I just don't want to deal with work. Can someone send me the winning ticket for the lotto and my boo? Id really appreciate it. Thanks.

A personal note for EnYCee:

Even with your shitty attitude, you know that day when you rained ALL day, You were Lovely.

My camera went for a swim

Let me tell you guys a story. Straight to the point.

I see a pretty neat wall pasting of Madonna at the Meat Packing District and I get the urge to take a picture. As I hand the camera to Amy, it falls into a huge, dark, icky puddle of water. =( My jaw dropped as well as my heart. The end.

I havent attempted to turn it on and see if it still works for fear that it is not completely dry yet, but the lens is a bit messed up. What sucks is that I'm still in New York and have sooooo many more pictures to take. Thank god for Raquel and her super duper cool and dandy camera.

This is the last picture taken before the horrible accident.

Life WAS wonderful.

Reward if Found

I'm currently packing for my trip to NYC tomorrow and I'm turning my room upside down because it seems that my Juicy Couture starter bracelet is missing. =( I'm not materialistic, don't get it twisted...but the deal is that this is the second bracelet I "lose" in the past 2 months. I know I could just go out and buy it again (if that style is still in stock) or an even better one, but the previous bracelet I lost had much more sentimental value and it was reaaal gold. No, I mean reaaal gold. You know like the good, non hollow gold used back in the days to make jewelry. It was given to me by my grandma (r.i.p mimi) for Christmas one year. It used to be hers and I was and still am heartbroken about it.

I got a headache over the juicy one. I think its more of having that doubt on someone taking it like my sister and being scared to tell me she took it...or even worse, that she lost it! ahhhh! I'll punch her in the ovaries if I ever find out she made me go through all of this. Stay tuned....

How else would I fly?

( Manhattan: August, 2009)

I'll be hitting the streets of NY yet again in just a couple of days with my partner in crime.......and what better way to fly than with Jet Blue? Their stewardess' are kind enough to not only show you how to apply your life vest in case of an emergency, but they also hand out snacks and drinks.

I can't forget about the Directv screens on every passengers seat. Genius.

Spirits and American Airlines need to step their game up. Fa reals.

A Producer Extraordinaire's Birthday

It was my boo's birthday celebration at Hot Tuna two weekends ago. Some of his friends and mine joined us for a late night dinner and some drinks. Boo had fun, and although the bar ran out of his favorite drink, Hennessey on the Rocks, he wouldnt have had it any other way.

Birthday boy. Birthday boo. ;)
