I AM concert

I love Beyonce and her fierceness. The in your face attitude of her dances and outfits and voice and.....and...and!!!! lol I told the boo a while back that I wanted to see her in concert and he promised me we would go. He did wait a bit too long to get tickets because he "thought I was going to remind him." That explains our seats at almost NOSE BLEED section. It doesn't matter though. Its the thought and the fact that I got to see Beyonce live that counts. =) The concert was held at the BankAtlantic center in Sunrise, FL. It was a rainy evening but that didn't stop us from bringing all the boys to the yard at Steak n Shake.

I ordered a classic scrawwwburreh shake and babe ordered a Turtle Caramel Nut shake. We like turtles. (that's an inside joke for those whom are in the circle of trust.)

After satisfying our sweet tooth, we paid for $20 parking and marched ourselves into the arena. Beyonce opened up with "Deja Vu" and I was really hoping that Jay-Z would come out to perform with her but there was no sign of him. With a mixture of songs from her old albums B'day and Dangerously in Love, to hits from her Destiny's Child days, she definitely gave everyone in that arena their money's worth. I almost forgot to mention that after Beyonce performed "Single Ladies" a man from the audience proposed to his girlfriend and put a raaangg on it. lol I don't know whether that was staged or not but he might have set some high standards for other men that were there with their girlfriend.

Beyonce ended the show with "Halo" and I must say I had goosebumps the whole time. I love that song, and her singing it with all she's got made me love it even more. Can't wait for her next tour. I'll be in there like swimwear!

Moon Walking in Heaven..

R.I.P Michael Jackson. Despite all the controversy from his skin color to the child molesting accusations, he was one of the best if not THE best. You know it and you cant front! Separating the ART from the ARTIST, MJ was the man. And with that said, I leave you with one of my favorite MJ songs, because leaving you with all of them would take up hours of your precious time. <3

You could do pizza anytime!

After a broooterful day at the beach with my main squeeze and my dearest friend, we parted ways to later reunite at night for a late dinner on South Beach at Fratelli la Bufala. Our original destination was Fatburger, which is around Washington & 7th I believe, but the waiters were calling our names from outside while we were at a redlight in which we spotted a bragon. Yes, a bragon!

Not really, but we totally ditched burgers and fries for some authentic italian pizza. Its right on the corner of where all the action begins. I live for Italian food. lol. The pizzas were HUGE and delicious. The boo and I ordered a Girasol (with a name like that who wouldnt?) and Raquel ordered a Capricciosa which completely fits her persona. hehehe.

She is one of the best third wheels I know. So well behaved and all. I wouldn't mind baby sitting again. =)

The story of The Tutu

I can never EVER get tired of Sex and The City. I'm sure 99% of women out there might think the same. As a matter of fact, I'm playing it right now as I blog. Oh look, there goes Carrie and the girls having lunch, chatting about Alexander Pretovski asking her to leave Manhattan to cross an ocean and move to Paris.

Back to the subject at hand, you know the tutu that Carrie wears in the opening credits? Well, I want it and I want it NOW! Ive always thought the tutu was super cute but never got to searching for it assuming that perhaps the tutu would be ridiculously pricey as the rest of Carrie Bradshaw's outfits (turns it out it was only $5). And so now, Ive found it at http://getgoretro.com/. Its not 5 buckaroos but its affordable!

I just might order it on time for my Summer in the City trip this August. =)

Only One Can Win Your Love

Introducing the cheese to my macaroni. The candy to my apple. He has that....je ne sais quoi. Wait, who am I kidding? I know exactly what he has, and that is EVERYTHING I could ever ask for. It may sound cliche but I don't care! Rahj is my better half and he knows it. Yes, he says/does things to madden me ON PURPOSE, leaves the shower curtain opened after a bath, decides to have a conversation while I'm reading a book, and loathes the idea of drinking from the same glass BUT he's the one I hold accountable for snatching my heart....and the Pros definitely out win the Cons.

Feels so crazy to be in your world. In your arms. Lost for words. You've got me. =*
